How to Export iPhone Contacts to Excel (Free, No Apps)

iPhones don't export contacts as spreadsheets β€” they export vCard (.vcf). The bridge to Excel takes two minutes and no apps.

Step 1: export the vCard from iCloud

On iCloud.com β†’ Contacts, select all (⌘A), click the gear β†’ Export vCard. On-device: Contacts app β†’ Lists β†’ long-press a list β†’ Export. Either way you get a single .vcf containing every contact.

Step 2: convert VCF to CSV

Drop the .vcf on the converter above. Every contact becomes a row with name, phones, emails, organization, and address in separate columns β€” the conversion runs in your browser, so your contact list is never uploaded anywhere.

Step 3: open in Excel

Double-click the CSV, or use Excel's Data β†’ From Text/CSV for full control of encoding. Paid plans can skip this and download a native .xlsx directly.
